Hierarchy Excersises
Vertical Space
For the vertical spaces I just increased the leading and
made sure the tracking would centralize all the components.
I also aligned the elements using a grid that would ensure that they were all in
a precise spot. All of the components are separated by the vertical spaces in between
each and every one of them. Each of them are equally spaced from each other by the vertical spaces.
Upper case and lower case

I used both Upper case and lower case letters to distinguish each of the components.
By using lower case it makes it seem the scale decreased. While the components that were upper cased
seem to have an increased scale despite all of them being 12 points in font size. However the third sentence remains untouched which makes it stick out from the other components in the design.
The first design that seems to have the biggest presence is the "what's the matter with you?" phrase.
Alignment
The sentences are aligned with each other in pairs which makes them differ from other
aligned pairs. For instance the first and last sentence are aligned with each other towards the edge of the
4x4 box. However the second and fifth sentence have notable left margins from the box and are aligned to each other by the first letter. Finally the third and fourth sentence are aligned in the center with most notable left margins. I increased the leading as well to organize and separate the sentences in pairs to make the easier to align them with another sentence.
Color Contrast
The design above illustrates color contrast within each of the sentences. all of them have a different tone of black also known as different shades of gray. Each of them have varying measures of contrast. For example the 4th and 5th components have the highest contrast between each other. Since "Hadel Design Gallery" remains black and "2021 Symposium for Designers and Creative" is a very light gray.
Compared to the phrase (6th component) and School name (4th component) which have much little contrast when comparing those two specifically.
Size and Scale Contrast
The design above portrays size and scale contrast. All of the components have the same font and weight but they have different font sizes which distinguish one another. the heading having the largest font size and "Hadel Design Gallery" having the smallest font size/scale. The contrast varies in comparison between one and another. This is seen when comparing the second component to the last one at the bottom, their point values are different but not by much when comparing those two in particular.
Bold and Weight

My final design above shows Bold and weight contrast. All of the fonts share the same point size in font, same case, same color, but have different weight due to the thickness of some of them. Some of the sentences have a bold Garamond font which brings more attention to them from the other three which remain in regular Garamond. When bolded it adds more weight making the sentences/components much heavier. Which adds more emphasis to them which attracts attention.
